About

Useful tools, explained honestly.

Utills is a growing collection of free guides and tools for the everyday digital tasks people actually deal with — wrangling PDFs and images, converting files, and quick calculations.

Why Utills exists

Most "how do I do this with a file?" searches lead to pages that are either thin, plastered with ads, or quietly trying to sell you software you don't need. Utills is the opposite of that. Each guide is written to answer a real question completely and honestly: the steps that work, the free options worth knowing, and the trade-offs nobody mentions.

Alongside the guides, we're building a set of free online tools. The guiding principle there is simple: your files are yours. Wherever it's technically possible, our tools run entirely in your browser so nothing is uploaded. When a task genuinely needs a server, files are processed and then deleted automatically.

Who runs it

Utills is built and written by Pawan Bishnoi, a software developer. Every guide is written from hands-on testing — not paraphrased from other sites — and updated when tools or steps change.

How we stay free

Guides and core tools are free to use. The site is supported by unobtrusive advertising. Ads never influence what we recommend, and we don't sell your personal data. You can read more in our editorial policy and privacy policy.
